1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to DXB Interior Connect (“DXBIC”, “we”, “our”, “us”). By accessing or using our website, directory, RFQ tools, messaging, or memberships (collectively, the “Platform”), you agree to these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”).

2. Key Definitions

• Client: a person or company seeking interior services or products.
• Professional: interior designer, supplier/showroom/brand, or contractor/fit-out firm using the Platform.
• RFQ: request for quotation/brief posted by a Client.
• Verification: checks we perform (e.g., trade licence, contact details, portfolio, and for contractors, credentials/insurance).
• Membership: a paid plan that unlocks platform features and visibility.

3. What We Do (Scope)

DXBIC is a connector. We verify profiles and enable Clients and Professionals to find each other, exchange RFQs, and message. We provide a verified directory, RFQ tools, messaging, job board, forum, and showcase features to help Clients and Professionals connect and collaborate. We do not sign, guarantee, or process project contracts or payments. Agreements are strictly between Client and Professional.

4. Eligibility & Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into contracts in your jurisdiction. You must provide accurate, up-to-date information, and you’re responsible for safeguarding your login.

5. Verification Program

Submitting Verification documents is optional but may be required for certain features or rankings. You confirm you have the right to share the documents. We may approve, refuse, suspend, or re-verify at any time.

6. Memberships & Billing

Memberships auto-renew until cancelled. Prices are shown exclusive of applicable taxes/fees unless otherwise stated. Cancel anytime from your dashboard; access continues until the end of the current paid period. 

Refunds, where applicable, are governed by our separate Refund Policy available on the Site.

7. RFQs, Messaging & Off-Platform Dealings

Use the Platform to compare, shortlist, and collaborate. Keep sensitive data minimal. DXBIC is not a party to your contract; you’re solely responsible for due diligence, pricing, deliverables, and payments.

8. Content & IP

You retain rights in your content. By posting, you grant DXBIC a non-exclusive licence to host, display, and promote it in connection with the Platform. You warrant you have rights to everything you upload.

9. Prohibited Use

No unlawful, misleading, defamatory, infringing, harassing, or spam behaviour. No scraping or reverse engineering. We may suspend/terminate on breach.

10. Third-Party Links/Tools

We aren’t responsible for third-party sites, tools, or services you access via the Platform.

11. Disclaimers

The Platform is provided “as is.” We do not warrant uninterrupted, error-free, or guaranteed outcomes (e.g., specific leads, awards, or revenue). We do not guarantee any minimum number of leads, profile views, or ranking position in the directory.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DXBIC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability relating to the Platform will not exceed the fees you paid to us in the 3 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify DXBIC against claims arising from (i) your content; (ii) your use of the Platform; (iii) your breach of these Terms.

14. Suspension/Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or harm the community.

15. Governing Law & Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the UAE. Courts of Dubai, UAE have exclusive jurisdiction.

16. Changes

We may update these Terms; material changes will be noted by updating the “Last updated” date.
