DXB Interior Connect (“DXBIC”) operates a verified directory and RFQ/messaging Platform connecting Clients and Professionals in Dubai.
DXB Interior Connect LLC, based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, is the data controller responsible for the Personal Data processed in connection with the Platform. You can contact us at info@dxbinteriorconnect.com.
Account & Profile: name, company, role, email, phone, biography, services, portfolio links.
Verification: trade licence, credentials/insurance (contractors), references.
Usage & Technical: log data, device/browser info, pages viewed, approximate location, cookies.
Communications: messages, RFQs, support tickets.
Marketing (optional): newsletter preferences.
You can opt out of marketing emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link in our messages or by contacting us at info@dxbinteriorconnect.com. Service-related communications (e.g. account, billing, verification or security notices) will still be sent where necessary.
Provide and secure the Platform (accounts, messaging, RFQs, verification).
Improve features and prevent abuse/fraud.
Communicate service updates and—if you opt in—marketing.
Comply with legal obligations.
We process data where necessary to perform a contract, with your consent (e.g., marketing), to comply with law, or for legitimate interests such as platform security and service improvement, balanced against your rights. Service Providers: hosting, analytics, support—bound by confidentiality and data-processing terms.
Platform Visibility: profile and portfolio content you choose to publish.
Legal/Compliance: when required by law or to protect rights/safety.
If data is transferred outside the UAE, we implement appropriate safeguards consistent with PDPL requirements (e.g., contractual protections/adequate jurisdictions).
We keep Personal Data only as long as needed for the purposes above and to meet legal/accounting obligations. For example:
• Account & profile data: kept while your account is active and for up to 2 years after closure, where required for legal or accounting reasons.
• Verification records: kept for as long as your Professional membership is active and for up to 2 years afterwards for compliance/audit purposes.
• Usage & technical logs: typically kept for up to 12 months for security, troubleshooting, and analytics.
After these periods, we either delete or irreversibly anonymise the data.
You can exercise these rights by emailing us at info@dxbinteriorconnect.com with “Data Request” in the subject line and a clear description of what you are asking for. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
We use technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk. No method is 100% secure.
The Platform is not intended for children under 18 years.
